How do I get the cleanest and longest burn?

Always allow your candle to reach a full melt pool where the wax melts completely across to the edges of the vessel during each burn. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even, efficient burn throughout the life of your candle.

How long should I keep my candle lit?

We recommend limiting your burn time to between 3 and 4 hours at a time. Burning your candle longer can overheat the vessel and cause the wick to mushroom or smoke.

Where should I place my candle when burning?

Always place your candle on a sturdy, heat-safe surface. Keep burning candles at least 12 inches away from any flammable objects, drafts, curtains, and air vents.

What general safety precautions should I follow?

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always keep lit candles out of reach of children and pets, and extinguish the flame completely before leaving the room or going to sleep.

How do I safely clean leftover wax out of my jar?

Place your room-temperature ceramic jar in the sink and pour warm water around the outside of the vessel. Carefully pour hot (not boiling) water directly into the jar. Allow the wax to soften and float to the surface. Once the water and wax have cooled completely, remove the solid wax disk and wipe the inside clean.
